Excellent Birmingham store service - Dave A****
I was greeted by a chap called Dave and i explained i was interested in buying another guitar, a Fender Stratocaster to be precise. I explained i wanted to try a few options and in particular i was attracted to flashy looking guitars. I selected several to play and Dave took me to a practice room where i spent a couple of hours playing different guitars. His knowledge was excellent and he was very patient. Dave listened to what i wanted as a musician and provided the right equipment when i needed it followed by advice on the differences between each one. I settled on a very good guitar and a couple of pedals. If you are going to buy from PMT, GO TO THE BIRMINGHAM STORE.

Overview

There's no such thing as too many strings, that's espcially true when you're using an RG9QM with specially developed Quantum pickups and Ibanez hardware. Easily handling the monumental low end and power of this metal machine. At this price why would you even go back to a puny 6 string.

9 string power available at an incredible price. Bassists beware!

For those who just can‘t get enough strings and love extended range guitars,Ibanez is proud to introduce a RG 9 String Guitar with a new finish featuring a beautiful Quilted Maple top. The Wizard-9 5pc Maple/Bubinga neck is strengthened and carved to a fast, flat and slim profile. The extra-long scale of 28” offers clear articulation and long sustain by giving ample length to resonate with optimal tension. The Quantum pickups provide an accelerated bass response for exceptionally fast tracking of high-speed staccato riffing with crushing mid range and precise high-end articulation.

Ibanez Electric Guitars 2016 This year sees the return of the RGA design in both the Iron Label range and Jake Bowen signature guitars, slick looks and mighty sounds aplenty. The new Talman Prestige guitars offer something a little different for Ibanez, with a really classic look and sound, perfect for rockers and blues players. Semi-acoustic players are similarly spoiled with affordable relic finishes and an update to the popular George Benson signature, Japanese crafted & fitted with specially designed pickups.
