The Epiphone PR5-E was originally developed in the early '90s, drawing inspiration from the ES series hollowbodied guitars like the Sheraton and Casino. The thinline body gives it a petite acoustic voice great for smaller, more intimate gigs, but really springs to life as soon as you plug it in via the eSonic preamp output. The mahogany body is topped with a sitka spruce, which offers the perfect balance between a rich low-mid range and top end 'bite'. The resulting tone is well suited to a wide range of styles, versatile and priced at a point that won't break the bank.
For the true players that want that extra touch of elegant style on stage, this legendary electro-acoustic is adored by songwriters around the world.
A florentine style cutaway offers plenty of upper fret access, while giving the PR5-E a unique aesthetic appeal.
Finishing touches include gold Grover tuners with a true vintage vibe, rosewood fingerboard and rosewood bridge.
