Ahead

Ahead (Advanced High Efficiency Alloy Drumsticks)started producing their revolutionary drum sticks back in 1992. Following the success of other drum stick manufacturers, Ahead wondered how the conventional drumstick could be further improved post to the release of the nylon tipped sticks.

The answer came in the form of a sports retail store. Rick Grossman of The Easton Company was a keen drummer himself and up until now designed professional standard arrows and sports equipment out of space age aluminium.

The design was simple yet perfect. Aluminium sticks with a nylon tip in a replaceable polyurethane jacket.
