The K Custom Special Dry range of cymbals from Zildjian are the original dry cymbals and have been remastered for todays modern musical styles. Raw and earthy with a quick, fast attack and lots of dirt, the Zildjian K Custom Special Dry cymbals deliver a dry and funky sound with a powerful expression of personality.
Raw and earthy, in both sound and looks
The K1405 13 K Custom Special Dry hi hats feature a thin top cymbal and heavy bottom cymbal, resulting in a nice solid chick sound paired with a dark stick sound. When played whilst open, this unique hihat set delivers a dirty sounding, short sustain bark that would be appealing to most modern drummers.
Designed with today's diverse contemporary music scene in mind, the traditional K hammering has been utilised to good effect alongside a variety of modern hammering techniques, resulting in the production of a vast array of sounds, giving the K1405 13 K Custom Special Dry hi hats a unique voice of their own.
A dark sounding, mid-pitched, fast attack and short sustain makes these unique cymbals ideal for a range of musical genres, from modern religious music to metal/techno and everything in between (although Zildjian themselves are adamant that they're simply perfect for modern jazz, studio, country and medium rock), these premium hihats are perfectly suited for any intermediate, advanced or professional drummers kit.
