The Yamaha Live Custom Hybrid Oak Snare features a constructed blend of a phenolic centre ply and a predominant oak wood shell, giving you an improved shell life, dynamic range and sustain. Raising the low tones and removing those unnecessary frequencies.
Due to the oak wood's characteristics, the hybrid shells provide you with a 14 x 5.5 inch snare made for ultimate vigorous projection, without losing any sound quality in the process.

Presented with a traditional Japanese "Uzukuri" finish, the snare showcases a stunning textured finish via a brushing technique that only carves the softer grain of the wood. Showing off the characteristics of the oak wood.
