The team at Yamaha have crafted the Yamaha HPH-MT8 headphones with studio owners in mind, providing users with a highly accurate response - idea in a live or recording scenario. Sound quality is second to none as all the mids, high end and bass frequencies are accurately reproduced at all times thanks to the 45mm custom drivers with CCAW voice coils which deliver a broad frequency range of 15 Hz – 28 kHz. To ensure you get the best out of your experience, the Yamaha HPH-MT8 has been crafted with a focus on providing excellent isolation - all important when it comes to mix monitoring. The closed back, circumaural design works in unison with the protein skin leather, low resistance cushions to block out all that unwanted background ambient noise and ensure you’re comfortable at all times when wearing them. Whether you have them on for 1 hour or 10 you’ll find these to be a stress-free experience.
Solid, road ready construction
The focus with the new Yamaha HPH-MT8 headphones, was to create a sturdy set of headphones capable of withstanding many years of use without making them look or feel clunky like some of the “cans”you see in studios today. Constructed with a durable ABS housing with rigid die-cast aluminium support arms, these Yamaha HPH-MT8 headphones can take pretty much anything you throw at them and just keep pumping out your music.
The curved “waist” which joins the arm to the cup make them easy to adjust and the three-dimensional arm pivot with adjustable slider length ensures wearing fatigue is greatly reduced. Storage is made easy thanks to the folding arm structure and the very handy carry case that is included - ideal for travelling musicians and producers.
