Crafting the FS-TA TransAcoustic
With a concert body style, the Yamaha FS-TA has a punch mid-range and bright overall sound while being very comfortable to hold and play.
Solid Spruce has been used for the top of the FS-TA as is it is incredibly responsive and dynamic, making it suitable for all playing styles.
The body also features a new scalped bracing pattern to provide a louder and stronger sound than before.
Through rigorous research and development utilising cutting-edge analysis and simulation technology, Yamaha found this new bracing pattern ideal, and even though lighter than previous bracing, it does not compromise on the stability and durability of the top board.
Hand-fitted via a dovetail neck joint for enhanced tone and stability, the FS-TA sports a Mahogany neck which holds a classic Rosewood fretboard.
