Crafting the CPX600
Made with a Spruce top for great tone, the CPX 600 has a jumbo body shape which gives it a huge and powerful sound – great when playing unplugged.
A cutaway in the body allows for easy reach of the higher frets, essential for performing high-reaching solos and other adventurous playing styles.
Under the hood, the Yamaha CPX 600 makes use of a new bracing pattern using rear shifted 5mm bracing which reduces vibration in the lower bout to produce tighter tone, enhancing the low-mids.
Excellent Electronics
Allowing you to plug in the CPX 600 to play live and loud is a System65+SRT Piezo Pickup electronics system.
With built-in 3-band EQ you can individually adjust the bass, middle and treble frequencies to get the sound you’re looking for while the Mid FQ allows even further sonic sculpting to get that perfect tone.
There’s also a built-in tuner so you can tune the Yamaha CPX 600 whenever you want, without the need for a separate external tuner.
For added convenience, you’ll find there’s a volume control – perfect for playing on stage so you can adjust on the fly and turn down between songs.
