For most of us, the sound of a vinyl record is the optimum listening method. The sense of character, the warmth, the occasionally crackle of a record all make for a beautiful and nowadays nostalgic experience. Abbey Road Vinyl really does transport you back to the Golden Years of Recording.
Developed with Abbey Road Studios, this offering from Waves captures every stage of the vinyl production and playback process. Users have the option of varying turntables, a choice of cartridge, a choice between the sound of the pure acetate (lacquer) cut, or the print master vinyl pressing fresh from the factory. Even add Abbey Road's famous EMI TG12410 mastering console on the path in the vinyl lathe.
Control even the location of the tone arm across the record, changing the frequency response and distortion. And for added realism, add vinyl noise and crackle, apply a gradual slow-down/stop turntable effect and include wow and flutter effects for extra analog warmth.
