The Washburn WJ7SCE features a large, jumbo style body which allows it to produced beautifully full low end with great volume.
For the top, Washburn have opted for solid Spruce. Spruce is the most popular top wood for acoustic guitars due to its broad range and resonance.
Having a solid top, the Washburn WJ7SCE will sound better with age – the more you play it, the more resonant and richer the tone will become.
Attached to the body is a 25.5” scale Mahogany neck which holds a Black Walnut fretboard and 20 frets.
Reaching the upper frets is easy thanks to the WJ7SCE’s body having a single cutaway. This is great for guitar solos and adventurous playing.
High Quality Hardware and Electronics
A Black Walnut bridge is fitted to the body of the Washburn WJ7SCE providing great transfer of string energy to the resonating solid Spruce top.
Up on the headstock are chrome diecast tuners providing secure and precise tuning of your strings.
When it’s time to play live, the Washburn pickup system in this Harvest Series electro-acoustic guitar allows you to plug straight into an acoustic amp or the PA.
