Quality Craftsmanship
The EA15 is a mini-jumbo guitar so it is slightly smaller than a standard dreadnought.
The small difference in size means the sound isn’t quite as “in-your-face” as a dreadnought but allows for a more articulate tone.
With its single cutaway, you get easy access to the Washburn EA15's upper frets which is great for solos and other adventurous performances.
The Washburn EA15 features a flame maple top with catalpa back and sides while the neck is mahogany.
Catalpa wood, which has similar traits to mahogany, makes up the back and sides of this fantastic guitar and a cutaway allows for easy, convenient and fun playing of the high notes – perfect for solos and emphatic lead work.
The saddle is compensated to ensure precise intonation and both the saddle and nut are made of Graph Tech’s NuBone.
NuBone is a derived from Graph Tech’s famous TUSQ material and is designed to deliver enhanced tone transfer and sustain to your guitar sound and does not dampen the sound like other nuts will.

Ready to hit the stage, the Washburn EA15 comes equipped with excellent electronics featuring a Barcus-Berry preamp.
Barcus-Berry developed the world's first piezo crystal transducer for musical instruments back int he 60s so they know a thing or two about electro-acoustics.
This preamp has a built-in tuner so you don't have to carry along a separate tuner with you.
The display and LED lights make it easy to tune your guitar, even in dim-lighting.
EQ controls allow you to get your tone exactly right with separate bass, midd and treb controls.
A handy notch filter allows you to eliminate feedback. Simply turn the dial until you locate the problem-frequency and the notch filter will remove the unwanted noise.
