Limited Edition Valve Amp, with Custom Handmade Speaker

Originally released in 1958, the VOX AC15 combo has been the go-to amplifier for guitarists the world over ever since. Made famous by the likes of The Shadows, The Beatles, The Who, The Rolling Stones etc. in the decades following, VOX amps quite literally helped to define the sound of modern music.

Steeped in British Heritage

With the VOX AC15C1-G12C you get a powerful little valve amplifier that's crafted using more than six decades of amp-building expertise, combined with a custom, handmade speaker to add a little something extra to its sound.

Available in limited numbers only, this fabulous amplifier is perfect for stage, studio, and home-recording use.

Warehouse Speaker

Handmade in the USA, the Warehouse American Vintage series G12C speaker adds a touch of American flavour to thoses classic British AC15 tones. These speakers are renowned for producing a punchy low-end, with articulate and dynamic highs, perfect for adding a bit of Deep South Flavour to the illustrious AC15's legendary sound.

Tonal Evolution

This Custom Series VOX AC15 comes complete with a two channel design: Normal and Top-Boost. These channels feature independent Volume controls, and the Top-boost channel even offers highly interactive Treble and Bass controls.

There's also a Master section, which features overall Tone Cut and Volume controls, allowing you to shape your sound in the manner of the AC15's of old.

The Master Volume works perfectly with the individual channel volumes, allowing you to set the right degree of gain-staging, and achieving tones ranging from powerful overdrive to that classic VOX chime.

On-Board Effects

In true VOX AC15 fashion, the AC15C1-G12C comes equipped with a classic Tremolo effect and a warm Spring Reverb. Each effect features adjustable parameters, and can be activated via the included VFS2A footswitch.

All-Valve Construction

With three 12AX7 Preamp Valves, and a pair of EL84's in the power stage, the VOX AC15C1-G12C is a veritable tonal monster. Despite only being rated at 15 Watts, this all-valve powered amp can push some serious air, and would suit most small to medium-sized gigging venues.

However, if you need more volume, there's a switchable 8/16 Ohm jack socket on the back, allowing you to power an external cab at the expense of the internal speaker. There's also a 2nd output jack (extension speaker jack) which lets you run an additional 16 Ohm cab alongside the internal speaker, resulting in a fuller sound.
