Featuring 6 core models to the Vater line, the Vater Classics Series Drumsticks are available in wood and nylon tip variations.
Offering a nod to the start of the Vater production journey, each of the hickory drumsticks in this range feature the same profile and specifications used in their very first incarnation.
The Vater Classics are available in sizes 7a, 5a, 5b, 2b, 8d jazz and big band models.

Vater Classics 7A Nylon
Initially hand turned by the Vater family when they were first produced in the 1950s and 60s, these modern lathe-turned 7a sticks feature the same specifications used in the original design.
Providing that much loved familiar 7a playing feel, these Vater sticks are constructed from hickory to provide a durable and reliable playing response.
With a standard 7a length of 5 ½” and a .540” diameter, these Vater 7a sticks are half and inch shorter than the popular Vater Manhattan 7A model.
The small nylon tip helps to deliver a broader cymbal sound and offers a crisper high-end response compared to the wood tip option.
