Compact Body, Big Volume
Based on a dreadnought shape body, the BT1E offers the same characteristics but in a smaller size. The 3/4 sized body still delivers on volume, thanks to the matching of the Sitka Spruce top and Sapele back and sides. A delicate punch rings through offering a wide dynamic range from the Tonewoods.
Delivering bright overtones and crisp clarity, this Taylor guitar easily keeps up with its bigger brothers.
The small size makes transporting this Baby Taylor a piece of cake. Perfect if you're the musician on the move. Or if you've got a young one in the family, it makes an ideal guitar for the younger player.
Comfortable Neck And Fingerboard
Taylor has designed this guitar so that it feels great in the fretting hand. A comfortable Sapele neck with an Ebony Fingerboard makes chord work and single note precision easy.
What's more, the Chrome tuners keep this baby in tune.

Installed into the BT1E is a Taylor Expression System. Designed to project the BT1es sound naturally. So whether you're busking or performing on stage, you can deliver Taylor's gorgeous voice through a PA or acoustic amplifier.
