With its combination of a solid Sitka Spruce top and Layered Indian Rosewood back and sides, the Taylor 214ce delivers vibrant highs with a resonant, warm low end, resulting in a guitar that's suited to pretty much any playstyle and a wide range of genres.
In addition to this, the use of Layered wood for the back and sides adds an incredible level of stability to the guitar, ensuring it won't be warped by changes in temperature and humidity, making it ideal for touring musicians.

In addition to sounding incredible, the 214ce is equipped with a Mahogany neck that's been carved with the universally-acclaimed Taylor Neck profile.
This neck profile is specially designed to offer the maximum amount of comfort for your fretting hand, and allows you to perform at your best, whatever your playstyle.
Not only that, but the Venetian Cutaway on the body allows easy access to every note on the fingerboard.
Expression System 2
For when you want to amplify your sound or record your playing without setting up a mic in front of it, this guitar comes equipped with Taylor's acclaimed ES2 pickup and preamp.
This pickup sits behind the saddle (rather than underneath) and is specially-designed to accurately pick up and translate the strings vibrations through to the preamp.
The preamp's controls are situated on the bass-side upper bout, and allow you to control your overall output, whilst fine-tuning your bass and treble frequencies.
