The Taylor Grand Auditorium is an exceptionally versatile guitar and because of this, it's also Taylor's most popular model.
With a size somewhere between a Grand Concert and a Dreadnought guitar, you get a broad range of tones with well-rounded low end and articulate tone.
Solid Sitka spruce has been used for the top. Possibly the most popular wood used in high quality guitar building, Sitka spruce is incredibly strong yet flexible. As a result, you get rich tone with a wide spectrum.
For the back and sides, you have beautifully distinctive layered ovangkol which really adds a stunning and unique visual flair to an already gorgeous guitar.
Expression System 2 Electronics
For many electro-acoustic guitars, your plugged in sound is nowhere near as rich or full bodied as your acoustic sound.
Thanks to the Expression System 2 electronics in the Taylor 214ce-FO DLX LTD electro-acoustic guitar, that's something you don't have to worry about.
The ES2 system features three sensors that are uniquely placed behind the saddle with each one specifically calibrated for its position.
As a result, you get an accurate capture of the guitar's dynamic properties.
