The Taylor 214ce-CF DLX is a grand auditorium shape electro-acoustic guitar; Taylor's own signature body shape, designed by Bob Taylor and introduced back in 1994.

Sporting Taylor's most popular body shape, the 214ce-CF DLX has been designed to cater to both flatpickers and fingerstylists.

Impressively balanced across the tonal spectrum but with a beautifully pronounced midrange that produces clear, well-defined notes, the Taylor 214ce-CF fits nicely with other instruments on the stage or in the studio.

Another great feature of the Taylor 214ce-CF DLX is the venetian cutaway found in the body of the guitar.

With its soft, round lines and sloping peak, the venetian cutaway provides an elegant aesthetic while allowing for easy reach of the higher frets.

Great Wood Combination

The top wood on the Taylor 214ce-CF DLX Electro-Acoustic is solid Sitka Spruce. Extremely versatile and working well for a broad range of playing styles, Sitka Spruce has a broad dynamic range and delivers crisp articulation.

Being a solid top, the already clear, rich and dynamic response of the Sitka Spruce will improve as the guitar ages.

For the back and sides, the Taylor 214ce-CF DLX, Taylor have used layered Copafera (or Etimoe as it is also known).

Contrasting beautifully with the lighter coloured Sitka Spruce top, the layered Copafera back and sides has much darker hues, similar to that of Indian Rosewood.
