The body of the Taylor 114ce-N is Taylor’s signature shape; the Grand Auditorium. This guitar has just the right size and dimensions to give you fantastic all-around performance with a full lower register, great midrange and sparkling treble.
A hugely popular soundboard wood, solid Sitka Spruce has been used for the top of the Taylor 114ce-N because of its broad dynamic range, rich tones and versatility.
Walnut has been used for the back and sides, giving you beautifully natural and woody low end while its dark grain adds a stark visual contrast to the lighter Spruce top.
For added modern playability, the Taylor 114ce-N LH has a Venetian cutaway with its elegantly sloping design granting easy access to the higher frets while adding to the fantastic looks of this beautiful nylon string guitar.
Electronics Specifically Designed for Nylon String Guitars
Designed specifically for Taylor nylon-string guitars, the ES-N electronics system allows you to plug your new Taylor 114ce-N into an amp, PA system, mixer or audio interface.
The ES-N system features an under-saddle transducer and preamp with tone controls that have been customised to complement the voice of a nylon-string guitar.

It comes to you ready-strung with D’Addario Pro-Arté Hard Tension strings which have carbon treble strings alongside Dynacore composite core bass strings. This combination gives you traditional warmth along with the rich, loud volume.
