Taking the popular Winterleaf TW3 E and fitting in a preamp EQ unit, the Tanglewood TW3 E makes for a great electro-acoustic guitar – perfect for gigging.
Tanglewood Craftsmanship
Founded in London, Tanglewood are known for designing quality instruments such as their high quality, great value electric electro-acoustic guitars.
The TW3 E has a Parlour guitar shaped body that has a Mahogany top with Mahogany back and sides, delivering a light and focused sound.
Being a Parlour style electro-acoustic guitar, it is smaller in size than most guitars so it’s great for picking up and playing at home, ideally played solo and great for fingerpicking.
The neck is crafted from Mahogany and has a classic Rosewood fingerboard. At the headstock end of the neck you’ll find a 43mm Nubone nut.
Great Features
The bridge is Rosewood and the saddle is Nubone and compensated to ensure accurate intonation across all six strings. Nubone is a great alternative to natural bone, allowing for fantastic transfer with great uniformity thanks to the material’s creation process.
At the headstock, you’ll find the classic Tanglewood logo between six small chrome die cast machine heads, allowing for quick, precise and stable tuning.
The Tanglewood TW3 E comes fitted with a custom B-Band M-450T pickup and preamp system which features a 4-band EQ that has slider tone controls for adjusting bass, mid, treble and presence and a separate volume control knob.
For added convenience, it also has an onboard digital chromatic tuner so you don’t need to take a long a separate guitar tuner.
The Tanglewood Winterleaf TW3 E is an all-around great electro-acoustic guitar for beginners, offering solid build quality and performance at a very attractive price; perfect for learning and the solo performer.
