Great Tanglewood Construction
With the Winterleaf TW7D acoustic guitar you get a great example of Tanglewood’s commitment to quality guitar building.
Mahogany back and sides and a spruce soundboard have been selected for the TW7D’s top due to the broad harmonically rich range and powerful projection this combination of wood offers.
The Dreadnought guitar shape has been the most popular acoustic guitar type since its introduction in the 1930s, due to the big sound generated by it's large body. Having been seen in the hands of some of the music industry's most influential and successful performers over the years, the Dreadnought is obviously made for gigging and recording in equal measure.
The neck is Mahogany and features a Techwood fingerboard. The Nut is ABS Ivory at a 43mm width, the saddle is also ABS Ivory and is compensated to ensure accurate intonation.
ABS Ivory has also been used for the TW7D’s binding to ensure a secure guitar while the contrast of the binding against the Tobacco Burst finish adds an extra layer to the aesthetic appeal of this fantastic acoustic guitar.
Great Features
At the headstock you’ll find the classic Tanglewood logo between six Chrome Grover machine heads. Grover machineheads have been selected for their extremely precise and stable tuning.
The Tanglewood TW7D comes fitted with D’Addario Phosphor Bronze Light strings for a rich and resonant tone that compliments the TW7D’s characteristics perfectly.
With its “Super Folk Cutaway” design and high quality preamp and EQ system, the TW7D is a fun to play, well-built electro-acoustic guitar with a 25.5” scale and a beautiful Natural Satin finish.
