The TW10 is an outstanding electro-acoustic guitar from Tanglewood’s Winterleaf range of guitars. Quality craftsmanship, high quality features and electronics come together to make the TW10 a great electro-acoustic guitar.

Dreadnaught Style Electro-Acoustic with Cutaway

Tanglewood Quality

The Winterleaf TW10 features a Solid Cedar top which is a great tone wood. Combined with Mahogany back and sides the TW10 has a great, natural look and rich, loud tones.

A dreadnought style body means the TW10 delivers great booming sound with a lot of low end and a lot of volume.

A cutaway design to the body shape makes for easy access to the higher frets which is essential for solos, virtuosic lead work and adventurous melodies.

Nicely Constructed

Mahogany makes up the neck which features a Rosewood fingerboard. At the top of the neck there is a NuBone nut with 43mm width.

The bridge is made of rosewood to aid with transfer of string vibration to the solid Cedar soundboard and the saddle is NuBone and is compensated to keep perfect intonation.

The machine heads are chrome in colour and are stable, quick and precise with their tuning.

The bridge pins are black ABS with white dots. Black and white ABS binding on top makes for a securely built guitar and the colouring adds some extra visual flair. The binding on the side is made of Maple.

Special tapered parallel bracing by renowned luthier Michael Sanden has been used to create an incredibly secure guitar with brilliant resonance.

Great Electronics and Strings

Allowing you to plug your TW10 in to play loud during concert performances, a B-Band M45OT-1 EQ/preamp system has been integrated with the guitar’s body.

The Tanglewood custom B-Band pickup and preamp system features a powerful 3-band EQ with slider tone controls allowing you to boost and cut the bass, mid treble and presence. A separate control knob allows for easy volume adjustment.

An onboard digital chromatic tuner allows you to easily tune your guitar or quickly check your tuning without the need to bring along a separate, external tuner.

A low battery indicator is an added touch that ensures you’ll know when it’s getting time to replace the battery so you’ll never be without the power you need.

The TW10 has been fitted with D’Addario’s best selling 80/20 Bronze wound strings – a set of EXP11 acoustic guitar strings. EXP coated strings are plain steel strings with hexagonal cores made of revolutionary NY High Carbon Steel. Known for their deep, bright and projecting tone they go great with the Tanglewood TW10.

With its dreadnaught cutaway design body and high quality preamp and EQ system, the Tanglewood Winterleaf TW10 delivers a great performance with tone to match.
