A 14" x 5.5" snare featuring a 6ply, 5mm all maple shell, the Tama SLP Studio Maple gives you beautifully warm, resonant tone with crisp and clear attack.
The SLP Studio Maple snare drum is also fitted with 22mm thick hops with further enhance the warmth in its sound while providing a powerful attack.
Furthermore, the SLP Studio Maple snare drum comes equipped with a 20 strand Starclassic carbon steel snare wire.
The end plates on this snare wire have redesigned angles and thinner straps to give you the best response. What's more, when you add more tension to the wires, the strands press closer to the snare head for improved response.
