Furthermore, each shell in the Tama SLP Dynamic Kapur 5-piece shell pack is fitted with Tama's new Sound Arc Hoops.
Inspired by "stick saver hoops" found on vintage snare drums, Sound Arc Hoops bend inwards.
As a result, the natural tone of the drum is enhanced and you get improved sensitivity and precision along with increased control.
The Hyper-Drive Toms in this Tama SLP drum kit feature the new standard depth size for Tama tom toms. This shallower depth gives you a punchier sound with a quicker response.
Plus, with this shortened depth, you get more positioning options.
Great Mounting
Giving you increased resonance, the Tama SLP Dynamic Kapur shell pack features the acclaimed Star-Mount System which provides support at four separate points on the batter side hoop of your drums.
Furthermore, the bracket eye-bolts are able to slide left and right, allowing you to prevent the eye-bolts from touching each other. This is especially useful when you set up the two rack toms close together.
The Tama SLP Dynamic Kapur drum kit also has the patented sliding tom adjustment.
With a sliding connector on the tom holder, which moves back and forth up to two inches, you get a lot more flexibility in your set up.
All you have to do is loosen a bolt and you can easily adjust the proximity of any size toms.
