Authentic Jazzmaster Style
Poplar has been used for the distinctive body of the Jazzmaster with its offset waist giving it a beautifully elegant aesthetic while the cutaway allows for easy reach of the higher frets – ideal for solos, high-reaching licks and other adventurous guitar styles.
Attached to the body is a satin finished slim “C” shape Maple neck featuring an Indian Laurel fretboard with 21 narrow tall frets and a 12” radius.
These features combine to give you a highly playable neck that’s perfect for speedy playing and easy bends.
Dual Active Humbucker Horsepower
Giving the Contemporary Active Jazzmaster its jaw-dropping voice is a pair of Squier® SQR™ Ceramic Humbuckers.
These active humbuckers are powered by a 9-volt circuit and produce seriously high-output tone that’s ideal for thick, crunchy riffs and searing hot lead guitar licks.
The versatile electronics of this Squier Jazzmaster give you some great options for creating some awesome sounds.
Master Volume and Master Tone knobs allow for speedy dialling in of your preferred sounds while a 3-position toggle allows you to select either pickup or a combination of the two.
An adjustable bridge provides perfect intonation and is backed up by a stopbar tailpiece for optimal stability – even in heavy drop tunings.
With a black chrome finish, the hardware on this guitar is understated yet sinister and goes great with the Graphite Metallic finish.
