The Source Audio Soundblox 2 Multiwave Distortion is a truly versatile saturation effects pedal for guitar, that packs all of the futuristic and synth-like distortion and fuzz tones of the original Multiwave, into a more compact, cast-aluminium chassis.

Multi-Band / Single-Band
Featuring both multi-band and single-band processing at its disposal, the range of saturation possibility this pedal is capable of is very wide-ranging.
With the Multi-Band processing options, your input signal is split into 10 distinct frequency bands, with each band being distorted separately before being recombined for the final output. This results in a cris, clear distortion, with sturdy attack and superior note articulation.
The Single-Band processor, on the other hand, offers a more conventional approach, by adding a single distortion element to the entire signal.
Multiple Voices
Each of these processing categories are further divided into three different sub-categories, each deliving a unique approach to your saturation needs.
Normal offers a much more traditional distortion curve, whilst Foldback offers an aggressive, synth-like fuzz, and Octave makes for a unique octave-up distortion effect.

- MIDI Capable — the Multi-function In jack also allows MIDI access to presets and parameters when used with the Neuro Hub.
- State-of-the-art DSP — Our proprietary 56-bit Digital Signal Processor, the SA601, and crystal clear 24-bit converters.
