Quick Release
All of the cymbal stands in the Sonor 4000 series feature new quick release cymbal toppers to provide quick and convenient cymbal set up and changes.
Rather than having to time consumingly screw the cymbal topper each time you want to attach or remove a cymbal from the stand, the quick release design allows you to simply squeeze and pull the topper from the stand.
Squeeze the buttons on either side of the quick release cymbal topper to reattach it to the stand and then release the buttons to lock the topper firmly in place. Simple as that!
8mm Cymbal Thread
Previously all Sonor cymbal stands featured 6mm cymbal threads but Sonor have now changed their tilter threads to 8mm which is the industry standard.
Offering improved compatibility with other gear, this cymbal thread change brings the Sonor hardware range in line with the rest of the industry.
Gearless Cymbal Tilter
The cymbal tilter of this Sonor mini boom stand features a gearless design to offer infinite adjustment of the cymbal angle.
While geared tilters limit your cymbal placement to specific stepped positions, this gearless option allows you to set your cymbal to any angle you desire to ensure you achieve your ideal cymbal placement.
The new lever screw of the cymbal tilter allows you to adjust the angle with a stronger force and the lever can be moved out of the way of the cymbal independently to avoid interference with the cymbal and to provide easier access for quick adjustment.
New Cymbal Arms
The Sonor mini boom cymbal stand features a new retractable, knurled boom arm design to provide you with different set up options and a compact pack down size.
The boom arm can be set straight or as a boom to enhance your setting possibilities and the retractable nature of the boom arm means it can be stored neatly within the top tube of the stand for a super compact pack down size.
2 Segment Clamp
The connection between the upper tube and lower portion of this Sonor 4000 mini boom stand features a new sturdy 2 segment tube clamp design to provide super strong height setting hold.
The 2-segment clamp delivers superior clamping force of the upper tube from two sides to ensure strong reliable hold from the studio to the stage.
New Wing Screw / Wing Nuts
