Cymbal Arm
The cymbal arm section of this Sonor cymbal tom stand is topped with a quick release cymbal topper to provide quick and easy cymbal installation and removal.
Negating the need to constantly screw and unscrew wingnuts to add and remove cymbals from your stand, the quick release topper features two buttons that you simply squeeze to attach and unattach the topper from the stand.
Enabling improved compatibility with other gear, Sonor have changed the cymbal thread of all their cymbal tilters from 6mm to 8mm to bring them inline with the rest of the industry.
The cymbal tilter of the Sonor cymbal arm features a gearless design to accommodate infinite adjustability allowing you to set your cymbal to any angle you desire.
The new lever screw on the tilter allows adjustment with stronger force and can be moved independently to avoid interference with the cymbal and to provide easier access for quick adjustment.
Offering flexible setup options, the knurled boom arm can be set straight or used as a boom arm and stores neatly in the lower tube of the cymbal arm to provide a compact pack down size.
Tom Arm
The tom arm of this Sonor cymbal tom stand features a flexible open ball clamp to offer a smooth rotation motion to help you achieve precise tom positioning for a comfortable playing setup.
The short hex rod of the Sonor tom arm provides strong grip for the tom compared to cylindrical rods to ensure a reliable hold.
2-Segment Tube Clamp
The base of the tom / cymbal stand features a sturdy 2-segment tube clamp to provide super strong height setting hold.
The 2-segment clamp offers superior clamping force of the upper tube from two sides to ensure strong, reliable hold from the studio to the stage.
Wing Screws and Nuts
The wing screws and nuts of the Sonor 4000 tom cymbal stand have been newly design to offer improved grip on every connection of the stand.
Rubber Feet
The legs of the double braced stand are fitted with newly designed rubber feet to provide enhanced stability and strong support.
