New for 2017 - With a Sustainiac Pickup System

Sustainiac and EMG Pickups

In the neck position of the Super Shredder FR S is a Sustainiac pickup. The Sustainiac pickup takes the vibrations of the guitar processes it and then it is amplified by the Systainiac circuit.

This processed and amplified pickup signal is then connected to the Sustainiac driver which turns your amplified guitar note into vibrational energy. This energy is then fed back into the strings via the Sustainer resulting in an intense vibration, awesome harmonics and a note that will sustain indefinitely.

Imagine having the feedback you get from your amp but in a completely controllable state, built into your guitar so you don’t have to go anywhere and with a sustain that will literally last for as long as you want it to.

In the bridge position is an EMG Retro Active Hot 70 pickup. This pickup provides detailed and complex clean tones. It has deep, rich and fat lows but stays crispy and clear at the same time.

To make the most of your sound there is a range of controls built into the guitar. First, there’s the standard two volume controls and 3-way pickup selector switch.

Then, in order for you to take full advantage of your Sustainiac there are some further controls such as a 2-Way On/Off Sustainiac Switch and a 3-Way Sustainiac Mode Switch, which allows you flick between Fundamental, Mix and Harmonic modes.

Great Construction and Hardware

The body is made of Mahogany and features a Floyd Rose Special ‘Hot Rod’ Locking Tremolo (which is Schecter Exclusive) – perfect for those Steve Vai and Eddie Van Halen deep and frantic whammy bar actions while keeping your strings in tune.

Metal knurled knobs with set screws give you two easy to grip and fast to use volume controls and there’s a 3-way pickup selector switch.

The Maple neck is an extremely playable thin ‘C’ shape and features a Maple fretboard with offset reverse dots for fret markers. X-Jumbo frets make playing fast extremely easy, suiting fast metal and shredding styles down to the ground.

A Floyd Rose nut combined with Schecter tuners means your strings are easy to tune and once in tune they’re staying there, no matter how much you bend your way through face-melting solos.

Ultimate Shred Guitar

With its great look and zebra pattern EMG pickups providing the perfect tone for shred guitar, this is one formidable instrument.

If you’re looking for the best guitar for shredding, then look no further – the Sun Valley Super Shredder F3 has been designed from the ground to simply be the best shred guitar available.
