Schecter Quality Build, Neck-Thru Construction
The body of this bass has been crafted from Mahogany and features deep “horn” cut away designs so it’s easy to reach the higher frets. This kind of access is brilliant when it’s time to perform a bass solo or your playing style is more adventurous and melodic.
It features Neck-Thru construction with a 3-pc Maple neck that has been fortified with the use of carbon fibre reinforcement rods. The end result is an extremely sturdy and stable bass. The thin ‘C’ shape of the neck makes it extremely comfortable to play and hold.
The fretboard is made of Ebony, contrasting brilliantly with the Gloss White finish and features Mother of Pearl offset dots with glow in the dark side dot markers to accompany them. There are 24 frets are X-Jumbo size to enhance playability.
High-End Hardware and High-Output Pickups
At the top of the neck you will find Schecter has equipped the Stiletto Stage-4 bass with a Graph Tech XL Black TUSQ nut.
TUSQ is a marvellous material that is precision engineered under high heat and pressure to enhance the frequencies that remain in the guitar strings, resulting in fantastic sustain. It is also permanently lubricated so you don’t have to worry about future touch ups.
Grover tuners have been installed so you get ultra-secure, rock solid tuning that is precise and fast. Even with extreme, frantic playstyles; Grover tuners are very stable and keep your strings perfectly in pitch.
Powering the sound of the Schecter Stiletto Stage-4 are a set of high-output Schecter Diamond SuperRock MM humbucker pickups. These pickups pack some seriously power, delivering a fully loaded sound with deep, booming low ends, punchy mids and smooth highs.
A set of Metal Knurled knobs with set screws allow you to control the master volume with Active-Passive Push-Pull settings, blend and a 3-band active EQ so you can tailor your tone to your exact liking.
