Hellraiser Hybrid C-1
This unique guitar is an awesome fusion of the Schecter Hallraiser and Schecter SLS models with the Hellraiser Hybrid C-1 inheriting the best features of both guitars.
Nicely Crafted with Quilted Maple Top
High quality mahogany was taken and crafted into the Hellraiser Hybrid C-1’s body that is topped with highly figured Quilted Maple which is sculpted into a beautiful arch.
Taken directly from the SLS model is the extremely popular, ultra-thin ‘C’ shaped neck with satin finish which connects to the body through set-neck construction and features Schecter’s popular ‘ultra access’ for improved playability at the higher frets.
A compound radius ebony fretboard provides great playability and is adorned with an inverted dot pattern inlay, switching to the treble side at the 14th fret with a “metal cross” inlay found at the 12th fret.
EMG Electronics
Found at bridge pickup position is an EMG 57 pickup – designed for modern guitarists, regardless of genre. A unique combination of Alnico V magnets and steel pole pieces give the EMG 57’s tone some real PAF flavour while, being an active pickup, it retains an awesome amount of headroom and some great punch.
Looking to the neck pickup position you’ll find the EMG 66. This pickup features an innovative design that was inspired by modern guitarists’ requirements. Alnico V magnets deliver a warm, smooth mid-range with deep lows while ceramic pole pieces provide a balanced clarity in the upper register.
Matching the Trans Black Burst finish and black chrome hardware colour of the Schecter Hellraiser Hybrid C-1, both the neck and bridge pickups are housed in brushed black chrome covers.
To adjust your sound, you have two volume knobs and a tone knob at your disposal, while a 3-way switch allows you to select between the EMG 66 and EMG 57 or a combination of the two.
Locking Tuners, Carbon Fibre Binding and Black Chrome Hardware
In fitting with the dark appearance of the Hellraiser Hybrid C-1, all hardware is black chrome, including the TonePros T3BT TOM with string through body design.
At the headstock, you will find Schecter locking tuners, allowing for quick, precise and extremely stable tuning of your strings.
You’ll also find at the top of the neck, that Schecter have installed a Graph Tech XL Black TUSQ nut.
TUSQ is a marvellous material that is precision engineered under high heat and pressure to enhance the frequencies that remain in the guitar strings, resulting in fantastic sustain. It is also permanently lubricated so you don’t have to worry about future touch ups.
Around the body, newly designed carbon fibre binding is used – protecting the build of this incredible guitar while adding to its dark-industrial aesthetic.
