The Schecter Corsair Custom is the top-end variant of the Schecter Corsair semi-hollow body guitar, boasting great style, hardware and electronics.

Semi-Hollow Body

Quality Schecter Craftsmanship

The body of the Corsair Custom is semi-hollow – perfect for delivering that retro, sought after ‘jangly’ yet pure sound. Made from Maple with a Flamed Maple top, the Corsair Custom looks fantastic and is extremely lightweight making it easier to play for longer.

The set-neck is made of 3pc Mahogany and features a classic Rosewood fretboard with has Mother of Pearl block inlays for fret position markers.

Hand-Wound, High-End Electronics

Schecter have equipped the Corsair Custom with their coveted Schecter USA Pasadena pickups. These incredible pickups were hand-wound in the California at the Schecter Custom Shop.

Built with four conductor wiring, the versatility of the Schecter USA Pasadena pickups is effectively doubled, allowing for a wide range of options ranging from thick and crunchy blues tones to jangly, bright tones.

Through increased winding during construction, the USA Pasadena pickups deliver increased response in mid-range frequencies to allow for a fuller, punchier sound.

Two volume controls and two tone controls combine with a three-way pickup selector switch to allow you full control over your sound.

Great Hardware Including Bigsby Tremolo

The nickel hardware of the Schecter Corsair Custom features Schecter’s own locking tuners. These tuners allow for quick and precise tuning of your strings that is extremely stable, locking them in place – essential for performances containing a lot of bends.

A Bigsby Archtop B70 with Roller has been installed. The Bigsby vibrato tailpiece adds an extra layer of retro-cool, visual flair while giving you that peerless, classic tremolo effect – fantastic for country, blues and vintage rock-style playing.

Schecter have also equipped the Corsair Custom with a Graph Tech XL Ivory TUSQ nut. TUSQ is precision engineered under high heat and pressure to enhance the frequencies that remain in the guitar strings, resulting in fantastic sustain. It is also permanently lubricated so you don’t have to worry about future touch ups.

Perfect for Blues, Country, Jazz and Classic Rock

The wide range of tones available from the Corsair Custom, thanks to its hand-wound Schecter USA Pasadena pickups, means it is a versatile guitar that suits a number of styles.

Warm and full bodied with the potential for great blues crunch and jazz clarity at once, you’ll get some fantastic results from this guitar.

Combined with the classic Bigsby tailpiece you can put out some incredible performances using this fantastic playing guitar with classic good looks to match.
