This guitar has been crafted with a slimline take on a familiar dual-cutaway body shape, with a carbon-fibre reinforced neck-through construction and two lightweight swamp ash "wings" either side.
The end result is an incredibly comfortable-to-play guitar, with easy access to the upper frets, plenty of natural sustain, and the kind of reliability that the modern player demands.
In addition to this, the combination of a set of Schecter Locking Tuners and a Hipshot Ibby HM bridge, which come together for increased sustain, and superior levels of intonation and tuning stability.
Effortlessly Playable
Despite sporting an extra string, the neck on this Schecter Banshee Mach-7 is sleek and slim, and incredibly easy to play on.
Crafted from a combination of Roasted Maple and Purpleheart, this neck is super-smooth on your fretting hand, and sports a Thin "U" profile shape.
In addition to this, the Ebony fingerboard is carved with a 12"-16" compound radius, ensuring the maximum amount of comfort, wherever you play on the neck.
Powerfully Defined
Choosing the right pickups for a 7-string guitar can be tricky, as the extra bass frequencies can often result in a muddy sound.
However, the Lundgren M7's on this guitar are different.
Designed for Meshuggah's Fredrik Thordendahl's 7-strings, thse pickups are specially designed to offer a high output with incredible note-clarity - even with lots of distortion on your amp, and even with that Low B string.
In addition to this, if you use the Push/Pull function on the Tone control, the pickups will split into Single Coils, giving you even more definition for those clean melody lines.
