Sitting in the Middle and Bridge positions on this Sandberg Forty Eight you get a set of powerful Sandberg pickups.
At the bridge there's an "M"-style humbucker, that delivers all of the bite and thickness generally associated with this pickup type. In the middle there's a Split-Coil "P"-style pickup, that delivers a truly thunderous array of bass tones.
Each of these pickups can be used individually, or mixed together, thanks to the independent volume controls built into an active preamp.
Also on this preamp there's a 2-band Bass and Treble EQ control-set, giving you a relatively straightforward method of shaping your tone once the volume is set.
