To give you a set of hihats that are thinner, darker and faster than before, the HHX 15 inch medium hats go through a particular creation process.
First, there's a round of sparse hammering. This is followed by lathing and then denser hammering over the top.
Furthermore, the HHX 15" medium hats feature a slightly larger bell. This gives you more volume and power while keeping these hats lighter in weight than most other medium hats.
