The Sabian AAX ISO 16” Crash is a winner of the Sabian cymbal vote. It features 6 holes for a clear bell tone and a lighter cymbal sound.
Isolated Bell, Lighter Tone
The 16” AAX ISO crash from Sabian was the winner of their annual online cymbal vote, which allows drummers the opportunity to cast their vote for their most favoured Sabian cymbals.
This crash offers a unique design of 6 holes around the bell. This bell isolation allows for a pure, clear bell tone that offers lots of projection for added musical punctuation.
The holes in the crash also allow the cymbal to sound much lighter than it is. This means you achieve the fast, sizzling sound of a thin crash but with the strength, volume and projection of a medium weight.
Ideal for a variety of musical styles, this crash is perfect if you’re looking for something with a crisp bell tone, a fast attack typical of a lighter crash, but with the power and durability of a medium.
