Rockett Pedals GTO OD

Designed in collaboration with Nashville guitar player Guthrie Trapp, this pedal was created in an attempt to outdo the previous model, which beautifully recreated the old Nobels ODR-1 pedal (a favourite with Country & Western musicians the world over).
A more restrained interpretation of the Nobels than it's predecessor, this stompbox pushes out less overall distortion and low-end, but produces enough power to still cut through the mix and be heard. This wonderful little pedal can produce crisp and clear distortion, boost, or (should you wish) a deep and dirty crunch sound, depending on exactly what you want.
Great, transparent ovedrive that adds the perfect amount of sustain
The GTO Overdrive comes with a fairly simple interface of Level, Gain, Accent and Warmth controls. Want your sound to be louder or quieter? Then increase or decrease the Level. Want some more drive/distortion? Increase the gain. Want to boost or cut your mids/highs? Adjust the Accent knob accordingly. Want to increase or decrease the mid-low range of the EQ? Then fine tune using the Warmth control. It couldn't be more straight forward and you'll soon find that you're adjusting the controls intuitively to pick out that perfect tone.
The fluid and affecting play-style of Guthrie Trapp has more than evidently gone into helping with the design of this pedal; it's clear that this Nashville virtuoso is not only an incredible player, but he also has good taste and that is never clearer than when you're playing the Rockett GTO.
Sturdy construction and compact design!
Designed with extensive touring in mind, this lovely little pedal is housed in a tough steel enclosure and sports easy-access, top-mounted jack input sockets allow for a more compact pedal board: just imagine all of the space you could save having your pedals quite literally side by side instead of 6 inches apart to make allowances for patch cables between them.
- Level: Controls the overall output. The higher the gain, the louder the output, so use Level & Gain in conjunction for good effect
- Gain: Controls the gain level but also generates compression and feel. Blends seamlessly with the clean signal to produce a range of interesting sounds for you to discover
- Accent: Controls the cut through the mix, the top end and the bite
- Warmth: Controls the bottom end, but is also very interactive with the Accent control. When used effectively together you can really beef up those mids without the sound getting too wooly
- 9V Negative tip adaptor socket & 9V battery enclosure
- True Bypass
- Approx. 7.25" x 5.25" x 2.55"
