The Remo Pinstripe Ebony 16" Drum Head features two plies, one made from 10-mil Ebony film and one from 5-mil clear film, offering focused low-end tones with controlled sustain. The Pinstripe Ebony has an overtone reducing agent applied between the two plies providing increased overtone control, increased attack and incredible durability. The increased attack and durability makes the Remo Pinstripe Ebony well suited to rock and grunge styles and genres
In Use
These heads like the pinstipe have a really dark tone but with the ebony film they get darker but with fantastic stick articulation and amazing durability.
We at PMT would recommend as a batter head but why not try them as a reso head, you find the note is shorter and very controlled with minor adjustments needed to get the full round tone youre after.
