Innovative Design, Precision Engineering and FiRPHASE Technology
The woofers and compression drivers and precision drivers of the RCF ART 7 series are precision made.
The 8” woofer with 2” voice coil and 1” compression driver work together to give you 127dB max SPL with a frequency response of 60 Hz – 20kHz.
RCF Precision transducers have been optimised to deliver pure sound, eliminating distortion and be capable of withstanding high power levels for extended periods.
Benefiting from RCF’s over six decades of experience and technological innovation, these components deliver incredible performance.
With state-of-the-art DSP featuring advanced FiR filtering technology, the RCF ART 708-A boasts consistent and coherent sound distribution without phase distortion and minimal latency.
Powerful and Efficient Class D Amplifiers
The RCF ART 708-A is equipped with RCF’s Class-D power amplifier technology in order to high powered performance with high efficiency in a lightweight and conveniently portable solution.
Made with a solid aluminium structure, the amplifier benefits from fan-less heat dissipation and is stabilised during transport.
The amplifier is backed up by an SMPS power supply section which allows for huge output while maintaining minimal transport weight.
Simple Controls, Great Results
The ART 708-A active PA speaker has a series of simple controls that allow you to get great results easily.
Two different equalisation presets are available giving you the choice of Boost and Flat modes.
With Boost selected you get emphasised bass response that’s suitable for pre-recorded music and low volume scenarios.
Switch over to Flat and you a setting ideal for amplifying a live mix. The amplifier’s built in limiter circuit works to prevent clipping and overdriving the transducers.
A Mic/Line switch is also on hand for selecting the right option for your source while an easy to reach volume knob allows you to set the overall level with ease.
Three LEDs can also be found on the rear of the RCF ART 708-A allowing you to monitor the limited, signal and status of the system.
Red Dot Design Award Winner
Testament to its quality, the RCF ART 7 series has earned the prestigious Red Dot Design award for Product Design.
Due to the rear profile design, the ART 708-A can be used as a stage monitor while internal reinforcement protects the cabinet.
It also features two M10 suspension points and can be pole mounted, giving you a multitude of positioning options.
The inclusion on an integrated handle in the top of the RCF ART 708-A speaker adds to the portability.
