Solid Mahogany has been used for the body of the PRS S2 Standard 24 Satin with its natural qualities providing powerful sustain and beautiful resonance.
The body also features a hard satin nitro finish which enhances the resonance while imbuing your tone with a more open sound.
With its double cutaway shape, the PRS S2 Standard 24 Satin's body looks great and allows for easy access to the higher frets.
Set neck construction attaches a pattern regular Mahogany neck to the body offering fast playability.
Atop the neck is a traditional Rosewood fretboard with a 24 frets for great range.
Versatile Voice
The source of the PRS S2 Standard 24's fantastic voice is a set of two 58/15 "S" humbuckers.
These great sounding pickups boast pronounced mids and clear highs for beautifully cutting tone.
A push/pull feature concealed in the Master Tone control allows for coil-tapping for additional tonal options.
There's also a three-position toggle so you can choose between using either pickup individually or both at once.
High Quality Hardware
Found on the body of the PRS S2 Standard 24 Satin is a PRS patented tremolo bridge offering great tuning stability and intonation along with deep and dynamic whammy bar action.
Up on the headstock, there are six PRS low mass locking tuners providing precise and extremely secure tuning.
