The effortlessly playable PRS McCarty Singlecut 594 McCarty Sunburst model draws heavy inspiration from other vintage-style instruments, whilst at the same time offering modern playability, and bags of PRS Style.
Originally appearing in November 2016 as the "Private Stock Model of the Month", the PRS McCarty Singlecut was then made into a Core production model due to its overwhelming popularity.

Mahogany, when used for a guitar's body, helps to give the instrument a naturally warm voice, which resonantes at the perfect frequency to fulfil all of your harmonic needs.
This Mahogany body is fitted with a beautiful carved Figured Maple top to add the finishing touches, combining perfectly with the McCarty sunburst finish to give this guitar a striking and distinctive look.

This unique Pattern Vintage style neck shares it's measurements with the PRS Pattern neck, but is constructed in a slightly asymmetrical manner: the neck is slightly thinner on the treble side, but slightly thicker on the bass side!
Add to this the equally-unique 24.594" scale length, and this comfortable-to-play, 22-fret neck feels as though you've been playing it forever.
As a finishing touch, this neck is topped with a rosewood fretboard and adorned with those famous PRS Bird inlays, adding a little extra class to an already beautiful instrument.

A set of 58/15 "LT" (or "Low Turns") humbuckers help the McCarty 594 produce a warm, yet clear tone. The coil tapping options housed within each pickup's tone control allows you to choose whether they're set for rich, authentic, vintage Humbucking tones or nuanced, sweet Single Coil sounds.
With the selector switch and highly accurate control knobs you get a near endless array of tweaking opportunities, ideal for when you're trying to find those tonal sweet spots.

- Tuners: Phase III Locking Tuners

Phase III Locking Tuners, which PRS have used in this guitar's construction, work perfectly with the Two-Piece Stoptail bridge. A single added set screw on the tuners pulls the tuner's gear and worm together to prevent slipping, helping promote tone transfer from the string straight into the guitar with as little energy loss as possible.
When these tuners combine with the Two-Piece Stoptail Bridge, the McCarty 594 remains completely in tune with a neck that remains intonated through it's entire length, making for a perfectly pleasant playing experience in any situation.
