PRS Private Stock Aesthetics
Previous to the release of these guitars, the "sand-blasted" look was only available on a top-end PRS Private Stock guitar.
This finish makes use of the natural wood grain of the Swamp Ash top, with the sand-blasting treatment deepening these grains reay for the finish.
The now-deeper grains are filled with colour whilst - in this case - the rest of the guitar is painted black, giving the stark contrast you can see in the above images.
Also, due to the nature of Swamp Ash and its graining, each and every guitar from the collection will look completely unique - there will be no two alike!
Comfortable to Play
In addition to the gorgeous looks, the guitar also features a Satin Blackout Maple neck - bolted-on to the body to provide a solid and steady playing platform for your hands.
This neck features a Wide Thin profile shape, which results in a comfortable playing experience whether you're throwing out fast legato licks, huge bluesy bends, and everything in between.
The neck also sports a smooth and luxurious-feeling Rosewood fingerboard, that's adorned with those famous PRS bird fret markers.
Fantastic Pickups
At the beating heart of the guitar you'll find a set of PRS-designed 85/15 'S' humbuckers - sitting in the Neck and Bridge positions respectively.
These pickups offer a huge array of tonal options and combinations for you to choose from, thanks to the inclusion of a Coil Split function situated in the guitar's Volume pot - simple pull the pot up to go from a meaty humbucker sound, into a crisp and clear single coil!
Inspired by the legendary 85/15's that were found on the original 1985 PRS Custom 24 - but improved to keep up with the demands of the modern player - these pickups are powerful and versatile enough to cover pretty much any genre of music: from country and blues, to pop, rock, metal and beyond.
Premium-Quality Hardware
As a finishing touch, this guitar has been fully loaded with a host of PRS-designed hardware, such as Tuners and even the Tremolo Bridge. Not only will these both work together to ensure accurate intonation, but the tremolo will also allow you to add a little expression to your playing in the form of vibrato dips, dives, and raises.
To top it all off, the guitar comes with its own PRS SE gig bag, allowing you to keep it safe when it's not being used.
