The Promark Shira Kashi Oak Rk "Rock Knocker" Wood Tip Drum Sticks have no tips making them perfect for cross stick and for drummers who like the power that playing with the butt end brings.
5a Sticks With No Tips
The absence of tips makes these drum sticks perfect for drummers who want the added volume and power that they achieve when playing with the butt end of normal sticks.
The Rock Knockers also provide a clear, solid cross stick sound on the snare.
These sticks feature a .551" diameter and a length of 16", typical of a 5a stick. They have no taper meaning they are straight on both ends, with rounded butt ends at each end of the stick.
Manufactured in Texas, USA, these sticks are made from Shira Kashi Oak which is a dense and heavy wood that provides a sturdy feeling stick that offers excellent ride articulation.
Typically, sticks made from oak are extremely durable and tend to last longer than sticks made from other types of wood.
