The Promark Hickory 5B "Pro-Grip" Drum Sticks are a twist on the standard 5b stick. Ideal for the hard hitter, these sticks feature the typical feel of a 5b but with the added feature of a pro grip, non-slip finish.
Standard 5B Promark Stick with Pro-Grip
For a long time, the 5B has been the choice of the heavy hitters. It's a great stick for general purpose playing of all genres of music. The perfect option if the 5A feels too small and the 2B feels too large.
This version of the sticks features a "Pro-Grip". The Pro Grip is a factory applied, high-tech, non-slip finish for improved grip.
Manufactured in Texas, USA these Promark sticks are made from hickory, the most popular wood choice for drumsticks because of its resilience, responsiveness and durability. With a diameter of .590" and a standard 16" length these sticks feature an oval tip for a dark, warm tone suited to lots of applications.
