The Yamaha TRBX504 4-String Bass features an expertly designed Mahogany body. That balances perfectly between tone, comfort and ideal weight distribution.
Attached to the body is a 5-pc maple/mahogany laminated neck. With a precision fitted bolt-on neck joint. This refined neck design delivers fast playing and superior comfort.
With the addition of strength, balance and fantastic fret play. The neck also comes with a Rosewood fingerboard atop. Allowing amazing upper neck access and quick neck navigation.
The nut is a slim 38mm width. You'll find this neck perfect for the fretting hand.
High-Quality Electronics
In the bowels of Yamaha HQ, they produced these extremely versatile pickups. And installed them into the Yamaha TRBX504 4-String Bass.
With a crisp and clean bass tone. Matched with the flexibility of the active/passive preamp technology. With a quad-pole piece design and alnico magnets. Gifting power to the active circuit and tonal subtleness to the passive circuit.
The advanced design offers a level-matched output. Whether you're in passive or active mode. The tone-switching circuit moves the treble control to master passive tone.
A battery alert LED installed on the back panel gives an instant indication of low power to reduce power loss when you're performing.
Durable Hardware
Yamaha TRBX504 4-String Bass comes with a solid high-mass die-cast bridge. Which transfers string vibration effortlessly for a full and rich sound. This bridge is easily adjustable, perfect for refining your playing position.
With Black Nickel Die-cast tuners, the string stability is amazing. And a metal plate-mounted standard jack socket offering superior durability and easy maintenance.
