The Schecter Reaper-7 Multiscale is a modern 7-string guitar designed for players who want a versatile, ergonomic instrument with extended-range capabilities. It’s perfect for progressive metal, djent, and other technical styles, though it's versatile enough for many genres.
Key Features:
Multiscale Design: The fanned frets offer better intonation, improved string tension, and comfort for both high and low strings. Typically, the scale length is 25.5" on the treble side and 27" on the bass side.
Body: Lightweight swamp ash body with a deep cutaway for easy upper-fret access.
Neck: Thin-C roasted maple neck with carbon fiber reinforcement for stability. It includes an ebony fretboard with a 12”-16” compound radius, perfect for shredding and chord work.
Pickups: Schecter’s custom Diamond Decimator pickups (or equivalent high-output humbuckers) deliver articulate tones with excellent clarity for both clean and distorted settings.
Bridge: Hipshot-style hardtail bridge designed for multiscale configurations, providing stability and precise intonation.
