High Quality Construction
PRS went to great lengths sourcing the highest quality materials they could find - in this case Mahogany for the body, Maple and Rosewood for the neck/fretboard - resulting in a warm, round tone in a guitar that handles well and sounds as good plugged straight into an amp as it does run through a pedal board.
For many guitarists there's not much better than the feel of that Wide Thin neck profile and the SE Standard is their most affordable model with this feature, great whether it's your first guitar or simply your first PRS.
Super Versatile
As with their Custom 24 equivalents, the SE Standard 24 comes to you equipped with a pair of 85/15 "S" humbucker pickups.
These pickups, when combined with the guitar's mahogany body, produce a rich, biting tone with the kind of crisp articulation that is unmistakeably PRS.
In addition to this, there is a Push/Pull Coil Split activation situated within the Tone control, giving you the option of classic single coil tones for you to play around with.
