Ever since their 2002 introduction, the Ibanez Artcore has become the go-to hollow-bodied guitar of choice for musicians the world over.
Through a combination of quality workmanship and affordability, Ibanez have manage to cultivate a legion of fans from all walks of life, with musicians in genres ranging from blues, country and jazz through to even rock music picking an Artcore guitar over others.
The top, back and sides of the AS93FM-VLS have been crafted from Flamed Maple, with an Artcore AS set-in neck made from Mahogany and featuring a bound Ebony fretboard with white dot inlays and comfortable medium sized frets.
The Artcore is highly respected for its tone, sustain and ability to hold its tuning and the semi-hollow bodied construction of the AS93FM-VLS eliminates feedback intrusion.
Super 58 humbucker pickups are mounted at both the neck and bridge pickup positions and offer rich, warm and broad tones as favored by the likes of none other than George Benson and Pat Metheny!
Gold machineheads allow for quick and precise tuning while thr ART-ST bridge and ART-ST tailpiece securely hold the strings in place.
The series continues to push the boundaries of guitar building and anyone looking for that unmistakable semi-acoustic sound the Artcore AS93 is a great value instrument.
