Orange Rockerverb 50C MKIII Combo Black Highlights

- Footswitchable valve driven reverb
- Valve buffered effects loop
- Footswitchable attenuator
- Selectable output wattage
A Classic, Revisited
Continuing on from the tradition of this illustrious lineup, the MKIII features those same iconic high gain tones as it's forebears, but has been re-engineered with a newly voiced EQ section, and features a much clearer clean channel than before.
In addition to this, the Rockerverb 50C MKIII also features greater headroom and volume than before, but worry not: there's also an "Output Power" switch and the awesome Attenuator controls seen on other fan-favourite amps.
Despite the original Rockerverb amp gaining a cult following due to its high-gain prowess, the amps themselves we much more flexible than given credit for.
With a Dirty channel that can get you from classic Brit crunch to the heaviest of modern high-gain metal, all whilst maintaining that vintage Orange articulation, the Rockerverb 50C MKIII is certainly a force to be reckoned with.
Powered by a custom transformer and a pair of 12AT7 valves, this amps on-board Spring Reverb unit is newly upgraded from that of previous models. Orange themselves have stated that this is easily their richest sound Spring Reverb design to date!
As if that wasn't enough, it can also be footswitch activated, giving you the chance to Activate/Disable the effect mid-performance with ease.
Situated after the Master Volume controls, this circuit allows you to choose just when and how the Rockerverb 50C MKIII distorts after the preamp stage. Essentually this allows you to achieve output stage saturation at coversation levels, without negatively affecting the amp's output clipping characteristics.
In other words: even at the lowest of volumes, you still get the same feel and response that you'd get whilst playing at full volume!
This works perfectly alongside the power level switch - which lets you choose between 50 and 25 watts of power - giving you incredible control over the amp's headroom and breakup from the output valves.
Renowned the world over as one of the best drivers available on the market today, the 12" Celestion Vintage 30 helps take your amp into another tonal dimension. What's more, the Rockerverb 50C MKIII comes equipped with two of them.
