The Natal Arcadia Acrylic Transparent Red 14x8” Snare Drum features modern construction techniques to offer a nod to the past.
Modern Bright Acrylic Tone
The acrylic drum sound was made famous thanks to John Bonham of Led Zepplin. Since then it has become a very popular choice for drummers of all genres.
Although linked with loud rock music, this acrylic snare is far from a one trick pony. Able to produce anything from delicate, soft sensitivity to loud bright bursts of tone, this snare is super versatile.
The larger 8” depth of this snare shell means that it has the ability to offer better low-end tone response than shallower shells.
Intended to look as good as it sounds, the bright transparent red acrylic is a real head turner. It looks great under stage lights or with internal lights fitted to it for a super entertaining aesthetic.
As you’d expect from Natal, the Arcadia Acrylic is finished to a high standard. Adorned with Natal’s signature sun lugs, Tru-Tune tension rods to aid easier and prolonged tuning, advanced snare throw-off, 2.3mm triple-flanged hoops and Natal 20 strand snare wires, this really is a stylish looking drum.
