These DiMarzio Illuminator humbuckers were designed specifically for use with John Petrucci's signature Music Man guitars. Featuring the kind of versatility you'd expect, these pickups can take you from bright cleans to searing leads and back again with ease.
Add into the mix a 20dB gain boost built into the Volume pot (push/push activation) as well as an Active/Passive switch in the Tone pot (also push/push), and you have plenty of tonal options to wet your whistle.
But wait, there's more... Fitted into the John Petrucci custom floating tremolo there's also a Piezo pickup, allowing you to acoustic-like sounds to your playing, if you wish.
